The Beatles owned the Apple Boutique, which was a store located on Baker Street in London. It sold trendy clothes and other items, many designed by Dutch trio The Fool. The store was open from December 1967 (movie director Joe Massot met George Harrison at the Grand Opening, and invited him to create the soundtrack to Wonderwall) until June 1968. More items were shoplifted than sold, and the store never turned a profit. In the end, the Beatles gave away the remaining inventory.

Apple Tailoring was a division of Apple Corps, the Beatles' company. It was also not a success.
