the factory code for the quantum factory stereo is 1111. from SAFe mode you have to hold down the am/fm and the scan buttons together until the #1000 appears and then dissappears. use button 1 to set the first #, button 2 to set the 2nd # and so on. hold down the am/fm buttons again until a radio frequency appears. good luck.
Remove the cup holder and ashtray assemblies, pull the dash face off (tilt the stearing wheel all the way down). Then remove the bolts that hold the radio in the dash, pull the radio out and unhook all the wires from the back.
if your radio is not stock then the wiring is not correct or depending on the year you may need a specific wiring harness for the car which can be bought and installed by any extreme audio store. that would be the case if your car radio stays on when the car gets turned off. It uses energy

Try a monitor reset. Unplug the monitor and hold down the monitor's power button for 30-30 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up. If that doesn't work then go into the monitor's menu and do a factory reset.
On a 2004 you just turn off the radio and hold down the display button until you hear a beep and a menu comes up. Press the seek button until you get to tire monitor. Reset tire monitor and turn radio back on. Probably same for a 2006.
If it goes up and down by itself its either a bad grounded radio or speaker. If ur just talking about the FM/AM radio then u probably have bad antenna adaptor
