To determine if a brand new caliper is bad, inspect it for visible defects such as cracks, leaks, or damaged seals. When installed, check for proper alignment and ensure that the piston moves smoothly without sticking. Additionally, listen for any unusual noises when the brakes are applied and monitor for uneven brake wear or reduced braking performance. If any issues arise, it may indicate a faulty caliper that needs to be replaced.

Either your drill bit is bent or you have a bad chuck. I have seen brand new bits that were not straight.
Take tire off, unbolt caliper, use old pad against caliper piston and c clamp to push piston on caliper back in, then install new pads. If rotor is bad, unbolt caliper retainer, may have to use rubber mallet or hammer, hit rotor from behind(be careful) to remove and install new rotor.
Probably a bad pump.
how do you get the brake caliper push in to put new brake on
A 'caliper' is the main body of the brake unit. ( it is NOT "on the tire") It carries the brake piston and mounts for the two disc pads. You may need new pads if they are worn , but unless your vehicle is quite old it's unlikely you need a new caliper. Get someone who knows about brakes to tell you.
The battery is bad or the alternator is not putting out the correct voltage and is bad.
Bad Starter. Bad Starter Relay. Bad Ignition Switch. Bad Ignition Module. Improper Ground.

Jack up the 2002 Optima and remove the wheel. disconnect the caliper brake line and drain into a bucket. Unbolt the caliper, and remove it with the pads. Bolt the new caliper on and replace the pads. The brakes may be spongy and the new caliper will require bleeding.
There is rely no way
