This involves removing the dash panel, and is very complicated and time-consuming. 1. Using a flat screwdriver (or another appropriate tool) pry off wooden and black decorative plastic panels from the dash board. 2. Remove dash vents. 3. Unscrew all dash bolts (do not forget the two bolts facing downwards behind the steering wheel, on top of speedometer and tachometer, and the bolts behind each vent). 5. Remove panels. 6. Now you can unscrew 3 bolts holding the car radio. 7. Pull it out and disconnect the wires from the back.

You will need a flat, phillips and a trox screwdriver.

Go to your climate control system. locate the black bezel that surrounds it. You should be able to pry it off with just your fingers, but if you can't use a small flathead screwdriver. Once you get that bezel off, you should see four torx head screws. Take these out. This will allow you to take out the large bezel that surrounds the radio and climate control unit. Starting at the climate control side, pull the bezel toward you and out to the driver's side. Now you can get to the four torx screws holding the radio in place. Assembly is the reverse. You will need to go to a dealership and get from them some type of code number for that year regal. Trust me i did the same thing. Let me guess you replaced a battery possibly or one of its cables? They will give you this code for no charge. I keep mine on the last page of the owners manual now

Well it depends if it's an old Skylark or a new one. In any event, they're easy. If you have the old kind with shafts, just take the knobs off and use a socket wrench to remove the nuts holding the radio on. The new radios have two small nuts just underneath the front of the radio, right above the console. You should use a tiny adjustable wrench to get at it. It's very easy to reinstall. Try Crutchfield.com. They have plenty of installation information.

What causes a 99 Buick Regal to loose all power while driving?

I have a '95 buick regal with a similar problem. I took it to the local dealer, who changed the crankshaft positioning sensor and one of the ignition modules and the problem was fixed. I researched it on the internet and found several other cases with the same sensor problem. You can in theory change it yourself, but it's not easy - I think I paid $200-250 for parts and labor.

Where is the sensor located for the electric fans to the radiator on a 95 buick regal custom?

The Sensor for the fans is located on the upper right side of the radiator, ( the Passenger side).

How do you remove and replace the radio in a 1981 Buick Regal?

If the radio has both knobs to the left of the radio, then you will pop off the trim that surrounds the radio. Behind this trim you will find the screws that secure the radio. Caution- there may also be a rear support bracket which would require you to crawl up under the dash and unbolt it. The wires are probably long enough that you can unplug them after you remove the radio from the front. Installation is in the reverse of removal. If this is the type of radio that has a knob on either side, you will take the knobs off the radio, and remove the shaft nuts that hold the front of the radio in. A 5/8 inch spark plug socket would probably fit these shaft nuts. This radio also has a rear supposrt bracket that requires crawling under the dash to get at. These bolts would be a 5/16" or 8MM size. Disconnect the gang plugs and antenna before you pull the radio through underneath and back of the dash.
