The best way is to exercise a healthy amount and to not eat unhealthy foods.

Try jogging, or if you don't like that then swimming. Actually, anything's good as long as it's exercise.

Don't stop eating! That's actually worse for you than eating badly. Instead, eat healthy foods. Eat bread, lots of fruits and vegetables, and milk. Do not eat too much junk food (i.e. chips and cookies and ice cream).

Exercising and eating healthily is much more effective than dieting. Diets give a higher original weight loss, but nearly everybody who goes on a diet gains the weight back within a year. However, if you exercise and eat well your body stays at a good rate.
