you must go to wal-mart or any other store and by the adapter wireing kit for that car. Most foreign cars need adapters to hook up to aftermarket stereos.
The radio antenna is a fine wire imbedded in the windshield. If your radio doesn't pull in any stations, but you get static then probably the cable came out of the back of the radio. If you recently got a new windshied it may have not had the antenna. You should be an antenna at an auto parts store and install it on the front fender.
Could be broke, or might just be a Hyundai radio. Check antenna, and cable from antenna to radio.
Just did it... You have to buy an exact OEM replacement. Unscrew the antenna unit by removing the two screws. Pull out the remaining metal antenna and the wire. A plastic tube that houses the antenna will need to be removed. I was unable to remove the antenna cable as it is clipped behind the dash. I cut the wire leaving about 6 inches remaining above the roof of the car. Remove the inside trim along the top of the driverside door, all the way to the fron window. Additionally, remove the small trim piece along the edge of the door beside the drivers side dash. With the new antenna unit, begin to thread the antenna cable through the existing roof opening along-side the original cable that remains. As you thread the cable through the body, take notice of a hole in the body on the inside of the car above the drivers side door. You should see the new cable pass by the hole. Pull the cable through the hole.(I had to enlarge the hole to accomodate the plug that attaches to the radio. I used a dremel tool with a grinding bit to slightly enlarge the hole.) Once you get the antenna cable through the hole, pass the metal antenna and cable through the hole in the roof until you can mount the antenna housing to the roof using the two screws. Run the cable under the door trim and down under the dash. Make sure the new cable does not interfere with your steering wheel or and thnig else. I hope this helps you. I would have loved to see this before taking on this project. I just replaced the antenna on my 1994 Geo Prism and found that only one piece of trim needed to be removed. It is the piece with the fuse box door on the inside drivers side. Once you have it removed you have access to a plug and cable that runs from the antenna to the radio. Unplug the antenna remove the screws on the outside, pull the old antenna and cable out,put the new antenna and cable in, plug it into the cable running to the radio, replace the screws and trim, job done! I followed above answer with one modificarion. Only had to remove fusebox molding. Unscrew antenna from roof.cut antenna wire and leave as much as possible. Pulled out clear plastic piece. Taped end of new antenna wire to end I cut off old antenna wire. Pulled new wire thru and connected to wire that goes to redio. No grinding.
1). If it's getting any FM stations, then the radio is OK.2). If it's getting the strong (nearby) stations but not the weak (far away) ones, then check the car's FM antenna, the connection between the antenna and thecable, the condition of the cable from the antenna to the radio, and the connectionbetween the cable and the radio.
There is a connection joint under the headliner near the antenna base on the roof, then a cable that runs toward the front of the car with an end near the radio unit itself
cable broke release latch for the hood can't open it
Your throttle cable, needs to be adjusted.
Try lower end of engine - follow the + battery cable
The cable teeth should face towards rear.
no. first check fuses. check ground. check for voltage to memory, and switched power to radio. the only time the antenna would affect the radio in that manner is if the ground was connected to the antenna.
1995 nissans do not use a speedometer cable ,they are electronic via sen unit speedometer unit ecm etc.
Resetting the maintenance light on a 1999 Nissan Altima requires access to the engine compartment of the vehicle. Once their locate the battery and disconnect the negative cable for 5 seconds. Doing so will allow the system to reset.
To change the antenna cable on a 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited, a person has to unscrew the old antenna cable from the back of the radio. Then pull the antenna wire out from under the dash and follow it to the antenna. Unscrew the old cable from the antenna. Screw in the new cable and thread it back under the dash in the same path as the old cable and screw it to the back of the radio.
TBS is a cable channel, you can't get a cable channel w/ an antenna.
The fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump on a 2005 Nissan altima. The fuel pump is under the back seat. You must remove the bottom cushion on the driver side. Before removing the fuel pump you must remove the negative battery cable and relieve fuel pressure.
Assuming it's like my Ford , you have to reset the preset radio stations every time a battery cable is disconnected
It's not uncommon. Look to see if your cable box has an antenna input. If it does, it's just a remote click to change from cable to TV. If not, you'll have to use an antenna switcher.
