First, start with a heat protected before you straighten your hair. Then turn the straightner on a heat that makes your hair only go through once, but not to hot it burns it. Going on the hair over and over again makes it worse. Then, put a Loreal podcut on that makes your hair soft, brush it, and if your hair starts to curl again, straighten that one piece. Then, put a LITTLE bit of lotion on it otherwise it looks greasy, and then brush it again. If you can, brush it often, if not run your fingers through it. hope this helps
