The easiest way is to create playlists in MM to capture your song ratings, such as "All five star" import the playlist into iTunes then set the rating the same. Same thing for each rating. Then you can create playlists based on any of the MM criteria you used.
I know of no way to capture the "number times played" and "lasy played" info from MM, so you would have to start over for that info.
NO. Thereare dozens of applications you can use. Here is a link for reviews on 10 of them. I like mediamonkey and winamphttp://www.simplehelp.net/2007/07/08/10-alternatives-to-itunes-for-managing-your-ipod/
The iTunes library is where iTunes stores your music. You can put music in the library from music on your computer or from your CDs. You only need to set up an iTunes account if you wish to purchase items from the iTunes store.
To find music videos in the iTunes store select the Music section and then click on the Music Videos link on the right.
1. you go to my music 2. click itunes 3. click itunes music 4. then select your songs 5. and presto your done
If you copy files to iTunes Library, you will have 2 copies of the file on your computer. iTunes can play files that are not in the iTunes Library. It makes a link to them, like an alias. For example, if you download a song, it might be in your downloads folder. If you let iTunes copy it to the iTunes Library, it will be in your downloads folder and your iTunes Library. If you delete the song from the downloads folder, it will still be in your iTunes Library, and iTunes can still play it. If you don't copy it to your iTunes Library, and delete it from the downloads folder, iTunes will not be able to play it. You should set up iTunes so that it takes care of the files the way you wish. Don't try to arrange the files yourself by dragging them or copying them yourself into the iTunes Library folder. If you do that you might not see them in iTunes because the iTunes database has not been updated by iTunes. This is also true if you move files between the iTunes album or artist folders. Let iTunes do it and it will maintain the database and you can play all your music.

MediaMonkey is a media player made by Ventis Media, similar to Microsoft's Windows Media Player and Apple's iTunes. It is meant for managing extensive music collections, and can sort tracks by Artist, Title, Genre, Year, Album, and Rating. It has standard features such as Shuffle, Repeat, Balance, and Volume Levelling. It can also serve as a replacement for iTunes, as MediaMonkey supports syncing music to an iPod (although it does not have an online music store).
No, you cannot control mediamonkey or access your library without itunes being on.
The easiest way to add music to your iPad is by installing iTunes (which you can download for free from Apple's website) onto your computer. With iTunes, you can synchronise your music, playlists and other media onto your iPad with relative ease. If you would prefer not to use iTunes, there are other programmes you can download and install to do the same thing such as MediaMonkey.
No, but you can use MediaMonkey. It's a lot faster and easier to use than iTunes.
yes, from itunes on your computer
In general, iTunes will not allow one to move music from an iPod to a PC. The only exception is music that you have purchased through iTunes. There are a number of programs that will bypass iTunes and help with the management of your iPod. One such program is Copy Trans Manager.
