under tha steering colum there is a metal bar and above it is a little silver box. remove both and unplug the wires from that box and those will attach to your wire harness for your new radio. just run them up through to where the new radio will go. the factory radio will stay and the new one will go where the tape deck is. just did all that to my 1990 silverado
the trim around your gauges and radio, it pops off just give it a little tug and it will pop off then you will have to get it out of the way. put the parking brake on turn on the truck (do not start it) push in the brake and drop it to 1st gear then nplug your cargo light switch put move trim piece and put truck back in park and turn it off on each side of the radio are to black pinch clips pinch them together and pull out the radio and unplug there ya go and put new radio in and jus reverse steps to put back together

I bought a 1994 silverado dash cluster, to put in my 1990 silverado because i was told it would fit. I took the old one out, and was going to put the 1994 silverado cluster in, but the plug in the back was not the same, but I have been told several times that it would work, so i am not sure, perhaps the plug can be changed With the first answer, im not sure about the plugs. But everything else from an 88-98 interchange so i don't see why it wouldn't
It is possible, but there is a large difference in the dash/wiring/etc. Besides the dash, the wirhing harness for the dash as well as the harness for the motor and the radio harness will need to be changed.
You would put quotation marks around radio shows because they are talking.
