If you do n’t mind the black color of aluminum doors and windows after being corroded, then I suggest you do n’t deliberately remove it. Aluminum rust is not the same as iron rust. If iron rust is not cleaned, it will continue to corrode, and the black substance generated after aluminum rust can protect the aluminum inside from being eroded. It is a protective film.
If you want to restore it to its original luster, you can try scrubbing with acidic detergent. After scrubbing, you can put a protective film on it, otherwise it will continue to be eroded, so I suggest buying aluminum doors and windows after electroplating, which can prevent the air from being eroded.

Try the lightbulb it self, corrosion on the contacts
I would try your local full auto repair shop that will offer you a set installation price if you purchase the part yourself.
Hey Ron==This is a pretty big job and unless you are a pretty good mechanic I suggest you take it to an auto trim shop. The trim has to come off of the door then you have undoo the linkage that holds the window and there are very sharp places inside the doors. If you want to tackle it I suggest you get a manual that shows this repair. You will have it for the next repair. GoodluckJoe
If you are referring to the grid on the window you have to find the break. A test light works well for this purpose. There is a paint product available at auto parts stores that works as a bridge to complete the connection in the grid.

Aluminum is commonly used for flashing and for siding. Aluminum wiring for house wiring has fallen out of favor because of fire hazards resulting from improper installation and maintenance but it is still used for entrance cables. Aluminum can also be found in ducts, vents and window frames. Aluminum is used because it is corrosion resistant and relatively inexpensive.
Window frames for homes should not be made of steel because of the danger of lightning strikes. This is one of the reasons why window frames are made of either wood or aluminum. Steel also has the potential to rust if not treated properly.
Replace them with Upvc frames. Think of the time you'll save!
Aluminum window frames after being squared off and matched up are riveted together. Either a glass pane is fitted inside the frame before assembly, or a screen is stretched after it is secured.
