it means that it will save that music to a folder on your itunes library.
If you copy files to iTunes Library, you will have 2 copies of the file on your computer. iTunes can play files that are not in the iTunes Library. It makes a link to them, like an alias. For example, if you download a song, it might be in your downloads folder. If you let iTunes copy it to the iTunes Library, it will be in your downloads folder and your iTunes Library. If you delete the song from the downloads folder, it will still be in your iTunes Library, and iTunes can still play it. If you don't copy it to your iTunes Library, and delete it from the downloads folder, iTunes will not be able to play it. You should set up iTunes so that it takes care of the files the way you wish. Don't try to arrange the files yourself by dragging them or copying them yourself into the iTunes Library folder. If you do that you might not see them in iTunes because the iTunes database has not been updated by iTunes. This is also true if you move files between the iTunes album or artist folders. Let iTunes do it and it will maintain the database and you can play all your music.
best way I can tell you is it depends on the size of your library. You could transfer the "my music" folder from my documents onto either a flash/thumb drive or an external hard drive if it larger than the flash drive - go to my music folder, right click, then click properties, and that will tell you the size of your folder
If u have itunes put the song in itunes. connect ur ipod to ur computer with the usb cable. Then go on file in itunes and go down to sync ipod. When you plug in your Ipod after you have downloaded the song, the song should transfer onto your Ipod. If not, find the song in your music library, and drag it to your Ipod folder. That should work!!
I don't know if you have already tried this, but make sure you know which folder the music goes into once it has completed, then, on itunes, selcted "file" then "add file to library" and browse the folders to find the file you want, alternatively, if it is a complete album, select "add folder to library" and browse in the same way, your music should then appear in your itunes library
Well if you use a mac, go into your Music folder and copy the iTunes Folder. On a PC I don't know, but I guess it should be on a similar folder.
to transfer to itunes from blubster, ( you need to know where the shared files folder is) go to 'files' (on itunes) then do 'add folder to library' then browse and find, then select the shared blubster music folder. (you have to to share whatever music you want to transfer to itunes, on blubster, or so i believe) hope this helps!!
If your itunes "tunes" are stored locally ion your computer I.E. C:\My Documents\itunes etc, open MMJB select add to library and select the folder where the itunes music is stored.
The only way to do this that I have found is to simply click and drag the files from Limewire into your main I Tunes library. From there you can create your playlists as normal.
On a Mac click on the music file in a folder and drag it into the iTunes Window and the music will be added to your iTunes library. If iTunes is not running you can drag the music file into the iTunes icon in the dock and it will be added to the library.
Open iTunes.Mac: Go to File > Add to Library. Windows: File > Add Folder to Library. Learn how to turn on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.Navigate to and select the file or folder you want to add.Click Open.
You should make a folder for the songs. Then you must have the folder open and your itunes at the same time. Highlight all of the songs in your music library, and drag them into the folder. It may take a few minutes if you have a lot of songs to transfer into the folder.
it means that it will save that music to a folder on your itunes library.
Your music library is normally stored in a folder called iTunes Music which is placed in your Music folder. Deleting the iTunes software from your Applications folder will not affect your music library.
