The ones at end of a guitar (on the headstock) are called tuners, tuning pegs or tuning posts. The ones on the front of the body are the control pots/knobs (volume, tone).
Pull the knobs off and there will be a nut behind each. Remove the nuts and the radio will slide back. Remove the side carpet walls by the shifter console and the radio can be removed from either side, passenger prefered.
Usually you will have one volume control and two tone controls (1 per pick-up).
The radio is removed from a 2008 Ford Edge by removing the control knobs and loosening the retaining nuts. The surrounding trim is then pulled, wiring harness detached, and the radio removed from the console.
You can find replacement radio knobs for a 1998 Toyota Sienna at auto part stores. You can also find replacements by contacting the radio manufacturer.

Usually the nuts are under the radio knobs & then it's easy.
The bulb behind the temperature control knob in a 2002 Honda CRV can be changed by removing the temperature control panel. First remove the knobs then take the front plate off. This is held on by screws that need an Allen Wrench. The bulb can then be accessed and changed.

Hi: it is atached to the control knobs, in other words the module is right behind the knobs.
