It depends. If you buy it in Australia it costs roughly 35% less of its price in Europe or the US. Their entry model (Maton 225) is already a good instrument and costs around 800 euros if bought in Europe. Then prices go up until the custom models, built following the customers indications, which sell for about 5000 euros. Maton are expensive but worth every penny according to my experience.
An amazing guitar, Tommy Emmanuels signature series.
It is a Maton EMD-6.
The Maton EG 90 Starline Electric guitar with serial number 1247 was likely made in 1970. Maton guitars typically used a serial numbering system that helps date the instruments based on production records. However, for the most accurate information, it's best to consult Maton's official records or contact their customer service.

If you're looking for a guitar that is small, doesn't have as much depth to it, but still sounds amazing(!), I would suggest a Maton acoustic guitar (from Australia) -- the EMD - 6 or EML 6 Mini Maton. We do have those in stock in our store in Solana Beach, CA. You can order from online as well. www.musicmartusa.com or feel free to email me if you have any questions at LaurenRuggles@musicmartonline.com Thanks!
