I am a mother of two children aged 7 and 5. I got my tubes tied when my daughter was 1 and she will be 6 in December. I recently met the man of my dreams and plan on marrying him. But my dilema is we would like to have a baby of our own someday but we can't afford the cost. Can anyone tell me where is the cheapest place to go and if there is any sort of payment plan involved. I live in Miramichi, NewBrunswick, Canada. I need options. I am hoping somebody out there can help us out. Thank you. Hoping to have answers soon. I want another baby. Hopefull mom from NewBrunswick, Canada
I have also wondered this. I had a tubal in 2005 and have sometimes regretted it. I have looked on the web and have not found anything about free tubal reversals. I hope you find one and if not maybe God will take matters into his own hands and give you a child. Good luck.
The cost of a tubal ligation in the Philippines is between one-third and one-half of what it is in the US. Pices in the US range from $1,500 to $6,000. Prices in the Philippines are approximately $750 to $2,500. Prices canl vary depending on where you have the procedure performed.
The cost is about $5400-$6900 at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center located in Chapel Hill North Carolina. Having clips is one of the best procedures to have reversed. Normally the patient is left with longer tubes and there are patients that report pregnancy weekly.
Tubal ligation is a permanent fix. It cuts, ties and burns the tubes whereas making it almost impossible for the egg to pass through for fertilization. There is only a 0.5 percent chance I believe that you could then get pregnant. This is not birth control, its a permanent solution to no longer have more children.
AnswerIt depends on how much of the tube was damaged during the tubal ligation. A reversal doctor would be able to look at your post-op reports and tell you what you chances for a successfull reversal are.nothing was wrong with my tubes when I had it done they done it at the time of a c-section I would like to know how possible is it to have it all reversed
No, you can't help your tubes grow back together after a tubal ligation. You need to have tubal reversal surgery. This can cost anywhere from $4500 to over ten thousand dollars. I had reversal surgery and it was a breeze. Not only are my tubes open now, I feel so much better than I did when I had the ligation. There are some freak incidences where tubes have grown back together, but it isn't common.
The average cost in the US in $10000-$15000 dollars as stated in a Google Search: "average cost of tubal reversal"

Tubal ligation reversal costs can range from $5,000 to $15,000 depending upon the type of surgery required. Your cost may include separate charges for the surgery, anesthesia, and the hospital or surgical center. Most insurance plans won't cover this procedure so look for ways to cut costs using the tax code, or by purchasing supplemental insurance to cover your pregnancy.

The amount that United Healthcare covers for tubal ligation depends on the exact policy that you have and its limitations. it also depends on the reasons for the procedure. The best person to ask is the policy coordinator.
If it's performed correctly, you won't get pregnant anymore. Beyond that, nothing much.
