The cost will vary by a lot depending on your Trumpet and the repair shop you take it to. I've seen prices as low as $150 for "lacquer repair" and prices well over $1000 for a "complete re-lacquer."
Your best bet is to put in calls to your local repair shops and see how their prices compare.
$2795
couple thousand for a good one
Monette prices are expensive. They do have a price list on their website but a top class trumpet without modifications will cost around £8000 ($12,000)
There's no way to tell you how much a trumpet is worth without seeing it in person... The value of a trumpet doesn't just depend on what brand it is. It depends on age, condition, playability, among other things.
They usually cost about as much as a normal student level trumpet - in the $500-$800 range. Don't make the mistake this contributor did and buy a cheap one for under $200. They're terrible quality and (in my case) the valves may freeze permanently.

A decent trumpet on eBay can cost $100-$200 dollars. But when you go to a store to buy it, it can cost up to $1000 dollars, but it's usually around $500. My advice would be to rent it out until you've paid for it.

usually trumpet, but it depends on the people who are selling it.
As of Dec 2012 a full restoration including De-dent, resilvering and lacquer cost me £400+ Tax.
The lower end pocket trumpets can cost between $150- $175, with more high end pocket trumpets costing upwards of $500- $1000, depending on the brand and metal of trumpet that you want.
A huge range. A high quality instrument could cost as much as $10,000. A decent trumpet suitable for a student might be found new for as little as $250 (be very wary of any new trumpet that costs less) or used for as little as $150 or so.
The cost to buy a Yamaha Trumpet depends on the model you are looking to purchase as well as if you are looking to buy a new or used trumpet. A new trumpet can be up to about å£3,000 and a second hand one will be cheaper, but by what scale depends on the age and quality of it.
