There is a lot of debate over this, as the saxophone has the body of a brass instrument yet the mouthpiece of a woodwind. However, they are conventionally placed in the brass section, as most feel this is the one it most resembles. It is also worth noting that very few orchestras have a saxophone section, as it has a less traditional tone to many orchestral instruments, although many notable composers (shostakovich amongs them- who is an ACTUAL legend) who use saxophones in their pieces.
Considering the face that i own a selmer metal mouthpeice, and people have told me it's worth alot of money, i'd say the instrument it'self it gotta be worth a crap load as long as it's in ok condition.
normaly...it usally cost 600$-800$ depending on where you buy it,im not a big fan of pawn shop saxophones because they are no good.
The Mechanics of Playing the SaxophoneThe saxophone is played by blowing through the saxophone mouthpiece which has a cane reed attached using a ligature. The reed vibrates to make the sound. Your fingers placed on the keys control the pitch for the most part. Your throat and how you play also affect the sound. The note that is being played on the saxophone is actually resonating in your voicebox. The air goes from the mouthpiece through the neck into the saxophone body.If you wish to learn how to play the saxophone it is highly recommended you get a saxophone teacher or get a good starting book. There is also beginner music to get you started available online such as on andrewscottmusic.com
An alto sax varies in prices depending where you are. It also depends on if you want a professional alto sax or a student alto sax. A professional alto sax usually costs about 2,000 to 3,000 dollars. A student alto sax will usually cost about 250 to 1,000 dollars. So make sure you really want your own instrument because it is quite an investment.
is it an original or reproduction ??
200-300 USD
I can't imagine that any one person made the sax legit, but one worth noting is Sidney Bechet.

Value of any gun is based on exact make, model, and condition. For a collectable firearm, a #1 serial number would increase that value, but Nikko is not especially collectable. You also gave us no information on the model (There were several rifles AND shotguns that used the Golden Eagle designation).

You haven't asked a question. What do you want to know? there was a very rare edition hercules pen gun .38 caliber defender , that now has become worth a fortune, i believe the last one known to sell sold for 162,500.00 there was only like 30 of them made. d1913 seriaLnumber they say is priceless, they have the only one to be found is in a private auction, but the item says not for sale ,just for display only.
it's a 1937 Balanced Action, which means that it should be a fair amount considering it's vintage. And considering that there are no shopping entries on Google Product Search, your instrument must be sought after. Keep it in good condition. It's probably worth $3000+ in today's market
