I am actually wondering if Tubal ligation reversal can be done in Tasmania too. I am hoping to have mine reversed but can't seem to find any info for down here. I also don't know what the first step is I should take.
After a tubal ligation the egg usually can't be fertilized since the tubes where either cut, clamped, or burnt shut. However the procedure can be reduced and normal child bearing resumes. Also however there is a slim chance for the tubal ligation to not work completely and the egg become fertilized in the fallopian tubes which is not the most ideal place, the egg can be moved to uterus but there are several risks involved in that usually result in a miscarriage.
ask your bloodclart doctor they should know the answer

Yes, it is very safe to get a tubal ligation. I know several women in my family who have gotten one. But one thing that I have noticed is for some of them their periods are heavier and more painful after they receive their tubal ligation. Talk it over with your doctor and make sure you two decided on a method that is best for you. There are several ways to have your tubes "tied." Good luck and God Bless:)
you sure can I know this because aunt flo was visiting me when I had mine done..

Dr. David Grimes, in Paducah KY is a good one. He is located in Lourdes Hospital. Tubal ligation is a fairly simple procedure, so it would probably be best for you to find a gynecologist in your area. If you don't personally know of any, you could visit a few for a consultation, ask nurses at the hospital for their opinion, ask friends, or do an online search for reviews of the gynecologists in your area.
Yes, the symptoms are exactly the same. There is a much higher risk of a tubal pregnancy, so if you have any pain go directly to the emergency room and tell them you think you are pregnant after a tubal ligation.
