If slayer is not satanic why do they use that all satanic stuff?

I dont know very much about Slayer. But I know some bands just use that sort of imagery to sell CD's.

Most likely it's to provide some "interesting" imagery on their CDs because it catches the eyes of people. When someone walks in and sees it, of course they might steer clear, but evil images are gripping though we know it's not appropriate.

Slayer is only a American thrash metal band with satanical-like music, albums, and clothing. For all we know, they could be Satanists--the lyrics are poignant and clear in their obvious anti-religion statements. However, just like other cults and even gang Propaganda, Satanism has been romanticized into this culture and they might be doing it because it's "cool" or, again, eye-catching.

Whether a group uses satanic objects or not depends on your definition of a stanic object. Wearing spikes on your wrists and having large pentagrams painted on your wall have nothing to do with worshipping a satanic object; they simply mean you don't want people touching your wrists, or like to keep track of Venus' position in the sky.

Tom Araya, the vocalist/bassist, is a Christian.
