I would definatly not try it. It is too dangerous.
I would recommend that you use the oil that you use every day, assuming that it's a multiviscosity, high quality oil. Some will tell you to use a synthetic oil but I don't believe that it's necessary. If you change your oil and filter every 3000 miles, as you should anyway, your engine will be happy. It is a good idea to have a transmission oil cooler when towing but that's a separate subject.

Don't believe the Jeep manual and think you can towe 5,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 700 pounds at 100% duty cycle. The first thing you will do is overheat the transmission fluid and blow the pump seal. You will know this has happened when you are surrounded buy a cloud of trasmission smoke that is spewing on the exhaust system. I would limit towing to no more then 2,500 pounds and make sure you are using synthetic lubricant in all systems and have a very good transmission cooler installed. Voice of experience speaking.
You mean what ARE the social classes of the Cherokee? They still exist, you know. The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, one of three federally recognized Cherokee tribes, lives closer to the old way than most other native tribes today. Their website might be a good starting point for you, try the links below.
First and foremost you need to know the towing capacity of this vehicle. Then you need to purchase a good receiver hitch such as this one. http://performance.thepartsbin.com/basket.php?makeid=25&modelid=316&year=1992&partid=200&brandid=2608 Then you need to wire that car so that you can connect the trailer lights to the car. This is not a good car to tow with, so make sure you are towing a very small trailer with a small load. And remember that you have to stop this vehicle with the extra weight behind it. On a wet road when towing a trailer with no trailer brakes, you can get in big trouble trying to stop. If you plan on towing very often or in hills, then I highly recommend you install a transmission cooler. It is very easy to ruin a transmission when towing with a small car with a small engine. Heat is the enemy of any A/T and towing creates heat. A $100 trans cooler is a great investment when towing.
No they do not. We use a small trailer with smallt ires behind our car and it does fine. It would be a good idea if you tow a lot of heavy things however.
They are ok ponies, but Connemaras or icelandics are good for a child of young age.
Typical factory trailer towing hitches for jeeps are no larger than a class 2 which is rated for up to 3500 pound Gross Trailer Weight and a 350 pound hitch weight. The factory towing package should have a heavy duty cooling system as well as optional transmission cooling system. Your jeep can pull a heavy load but not necessarily do so safely or without damage to your vehicle and so great care should be taken to ensure that your rig is outfitted correctly. A phone call to a local trailer hitch specialist will give you good specific information that will allow you to tow with confidence and not tear yourself or your equipment up.
no its braking system is to small to handle stoping a trailer good luck also the torque is around 105 lb ft.. this isn't much towing capacity, i wouldn't recommend it at all.
Your trailer tailights are dual-filament, with one being the running lights and the other the brake lights. You need a separate power source from your towing vehicle's brake lights to power them. The easiest way to do this is go to U-Haul and but a set of their trailer towing taillight bulbs for your towing vehicle. The bulbs replace your standard tail/brake light bulbs, and they have two wires coming out of the base of the bulb. One of the wires connects to your trailer's running lights, and the other one connects to your trailer's brake light circuit. I'm trusting that when you re-wired your trailer, you ran two wires from the taillight socket, one for the running lights and one for the brake lights. In some trailers, the brake light circuit also doubles as your turn signals. Good Luck.
they say 3500 lbs i think but i have towed 7000 lbs with good trailer breaks over a distance over 150 k
It can be, but it would be better to feed a pellet designed for ponies in general.
Yes they are. Here in the USA New Forest ponies are considered excellent workers and high class competition ponies.
yes
'cause they taste good
you have to remove the back driver trim in the back of the jeep..........you will find a green plug, the aftermarket wiring will plug into that.......................good luck
