Wow, your wife told you this upfront? Then sounds to me that she loves you. This has probably been bothering her for a long time but didn't know how to tell you or what your reaction would be like.
Also, keep in mind that she was drinking and I've been told that a lot of life's mistakes happen when you're drinking.
If your mind is still not at ease, you should talk to your wife about it and decide how to handle it.
At the end of the road, it's going to test your marriage so you'll have to work through it if you really love your wife.
