In those days, if you were extremely smart and young, you could gather a very vast base for rebellions against landlords or local dukes/kings. If you knew how to read, what the people want, etc.. People could've supported the young man instead of the king.
Just look at Joan of Arc, ok she was female but the point stands, her success didn't only come from religious piousness. She was incredibly intelligent and had grasps of combat tactics, strategy and politics while being half the age of the local french rulers.
In other words, idiocy is a survival trait. The dumber you are for longer, the more likely you'll survive.

Chances are.....you never will. Especially if you don't live in a home. Only homeowners win with PCH, and that does not seem fair. I have been entering everyday for over 10 years, and I have never won anything at all. But, I live on a lower income, and I am not a homeowner.
