This is actually a bit of a tricky question. As far as studio albums, there are 8 officially released albums. There is also one that leaked on the internet (called the Lillywhite Sessions), but is not sold commercially (though many of the songs were re-recorded for the album Busted Stuff). They are also in the studio recording a new album right now (March, 2008). The official studio albums, in chronological order, are: Remember Two Things

Recently EP

Under The Table And Dreaming

Crash

Before These Crowded Streets

Everyday

Busted Stuff

Stand Up Other "studio" albums include:

Dave Matthews - Some Devil (not DMB, but a Dave solo album)

Boyd Tinsley - True Reflections (again, a solo album)

Lillywhite Session (mentioned above)

Un-named 2008 album (mentioned above)

The Best Of What's Around Volume 1 (a greatest hits compilation) The band also releases live albums frequently. They do this two different ways, releasing some in stores nation-wide, and also with their LiveTrax series of releases, which is available on their website, and at concerts. The in-store live releases are: Live at Red Rocks

Live at Luther College (Dave and Tim Reynolds, not full band)

Listener Supported

Live In Chicago

Live at Fulsom Field

The Central Park Concert

The George

Weekend On The Rocks

Live at Piedmont Park The Gorge and Weekend On The Rocks are each 2 disc sets with songs pulled from multiple-night stands at those venues. Through the website, you can also order the box set version of each of these shows, which include the full shows of each run. Currently, the band has released 10 LiveTrax CDs, with the 11th slated for release in March of 2008. These are full show recordings, and are not given special names...they are just "LiveTrax 1, LiveTrax 2," etc. For information on those, go to www.dmband.com. So, to answer your question, if you count every single release (and I'm leaving out the Warehouse fan packages, since those are not technically albums), as of March, 2008, you have 34 different released albums, with a grand total of 69 discs (ignoring bonus discs that were offered when albums were bought through pre-sales, etc).
