There are many solutions you can use to keep Blackbirds away.
From simple netting or spikes to more advanced electronic mechanisms, there is no reason you should continue to be hassled by the birds.
I suggest you reference Bird-X(www.bird-x.com), a Chicago-based company that specializes in non-lethal bird and pest control. I have had success using them and have found them to be extremely understanding and compliant.

∙ 13y agoI found a website that does this easily with a CD called CROW be GONE it was remarkable how well it worked. I don't remember the web address yet I found it on Google searching for HOW TO GET RID OF CROWS. Actually it was quite fun and I love playing their CD because it ended my crow problems and it brought amazing results.

In some cases, particularly while migrating, they congregate in large flocks. So how do you get rid of them? Take away their favorite food, cracked corn, and avoid using ground feeders until they give up and go away. If you feed your birds suet, try a bottom-feed feeder -- birds must hand upside down to get the food, and blackbirds hate that.

They're bold, and tend to be excellent problem solvers. Screens allowing only the smallest birds in may help, and taking away the cracked corn may keep them from reappearing.

∙ 10y agoYou can buy a rubber snake from a local toy store and place it around the dog food bowl. Be sure that you move it around from time-to-time so that the birds don't get wise and realize it's fake. This also works with a fake owl by hanging it in the tree.
