In the early 1950s, Harry had been convinced to trade in his Selmer for a King Super 20 Silver Sonic. He reportedly was a major inspiration to the model, as he wanted a trumpet with the valves moved forward to accommodate his long arms.
I believe there are four of them left from the original band. The lead singer died an unfortunate death, Danny Seraphine was the drummer, bass was Peter Cetera who now has a solo and great career. Here are the originals still performing, and they are great: Robert Lamm: piano, Wurlitzer, Hammond organ, vocals Lee Loughnane: trumpet, flugelhorn, piccolo trumpet James Pankow: trombone Walt Parazaider: saxophones, flute James Pankow often looks like the spice of the band offering up an excitment to get you started in your seat!
There are many good examples of guitarists that play Charvel brand guitars. Edward Van Halen, Richie Sambora, Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, Criss Olivia, and Shawn Lane are notable examples.

The brass (or horn) section consisted of Lee Loughnane (trumpet), Walter Parazaider (woodwinds) and James Pankow (trombone)....All three are still there, although they do use some substitutions in concert from time to time.
