There are quite a few actually, but one you shouldn't miss is Frankie Avalon. That's right - "Moondoggie" from the "Beach" movies of the 60's with Annette Funicello. He was actually a Trumpet player first, and worked with some big names before being discovered as a singer, and then an actor. You can actually see and hear a sample of him performing in Irwin Allen's movie "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". He's actually playing the horn in a scene in which he's accompanying Barbara Eden's butt shaking on the screen while she dances to the music - go see it!
A trumpist. I know because I play the trumpet...:)
Trumpet.
It depends on what you mean. But in general, the Trumpet, Tuba, Valve Trombone, and French Horn are all similar to the trumpet in the way they operate, but they don't all play the same clef
It is possible to play a high G on the trumpet. You can play almost about any pitch on the trumpet if your lips are tight enough but they let air flow through.
