Well there's
. Epiphone
. Heritage
And then you have the vast amount of companies who make copies of Gibsons, but not all of them. Like:
Agile
Tokai
Edwards
etc
Gibson guitars are wicked
Epiphone was a company all it's own at one time, owned by a luthier, and named after is son, "Epi." As Epiphone made quality instruments, Gibson purchased the rights to the name, at which point Gibson became responsible for the construction of Epiphone guitars. But, Epiphone makes Epiphone guitars, not Gibson. Gibson is only responsible for providing the materials and the construction regulations. Some would even choose an Epiphone over a Gibson.
used a minimum of 600$ online , over 1000$ new in stores. Go with LTD , ESP , Schecter , Agile or Jackson something along those lines that make an affordable say Les Paul or SG. Gibson is extremely over rated and their sales pitch is well if it's that expensive it must be good. Where as all those import companies make incredible guitars that are like half the price. I've owned 30 guitars and never liked a Gibson.
yes, in fact there is! they also make them in china and japan. but do not worry about the quality of the guitar cuz its still a Gibson guitar. Gibson also makes its Epiphone brand guitars in Asia. in my mind, Gibson `s that are made in the USA and Japan are a little better in sound than a Gibson`s from china. Chinese Gibson guitars are built to get the point across, but not to the true Gibson feel. so if you get one made there dont worry about the sound or looks. I mean A Gibson Is A Gibson.
Yamaha make a range of affordable guitars that are also well rated for the sound they create. Alternatively Martin, Gibson and Taylor all have cheap guitars that are well reviewed.
gibson USA
Gibson makes some of the best and most recognizable guitars in the world today. They're a great brand.
they make it.... made it... make it
Gibson guitars are wicked
Gibson does have some electric guitars, and had quite a few between 1953-1983.
Yes, but not very good ones
blab
this is a hard answer as Gibson owns so many companies but put simply if it doesn't say gibson on the headstock or epiphone it isnt straight up gibson. Fender Jackson any death metal shape by Dean , BC Rich , LTD and so on are a few brands that aren't gibson but make great guitars
The answer to this is simple. Gibson guitars are hand crafted. Along with many other brands if a guitar is hand crafted it will only mean one thing, more damage to your wallet. That's why larger companies make affordable guitars to the public as well, the only difference is that the cheaper you go the more chance that the guitar was made overseas by machines. Fender has Squire, Gibson has Epiphone, and ESP has LTD....I could go on, but you get the point.

Several companies are well-known for manufacturing musical instruments, including Yamaha, which produces a wide range of instruments from pianos to guitars, and Fender, famous for its electric guitars and basses. Other notable manufacturers include Steinway & Sons, known for high-quality pianos, and Roland, recognized for electronic instruments and synthesizers. Additionally, companies like Gibson and Pearl specialize in guitars and percussion instruments, respectively.
to rip everyone off with overpriced guitars haha... seriously though , to make the best guitars possible. Theres a world outside of just Gibson though most just want les pauls and marshalls but theres guitars at fractions of the cost that sound 100 times better.
