Diana Ross helped change society by showing the world that African Americans are sophisticated. Diana Ross along with the Supremes helped to bridge the gap between black and white people during a time of strained race relations. I believe that Diana Ross and Motown played a large part in the Civil Rights Movement. By being able to watch these talented kids from the projects of Detroit, the world was able to get a clear and true picture of African American people. Diana Ross was able to help display the truth and kill the myths about black Americans.
