I have a 92 Jeep Cherokee that started doing the same thing. It turned out that the left front tire had lost a wheel weight and was out of balance. I put new shocks and dampner on it while I had it out of service. Best of luck. It could be a plugged fuel filter. Is it a surge type feeling back and forth like running out of gas?
well first of all this happened to my car as well and im pretty sure what your looking for is the either rear shocks or the front sway bar links!!!!!

Misfire code
well i`ve had my own question answered, yes this does mean that my fuel pump wasn`t working correctly, therefor, when you bang on the gas tank and it turns over and starts, this means that your fuel pump is going out. also found out that when your fuel filter is bad, it will just shut the car off when you are driving down the road.. hope i can help someone else
Time for an oil change.
your foot is on the clutch too long
right when youre done jerking its basically that...
If you know what I mean.
There are a couple of reasons why you car is jerking when you are going below 60. It could be the result of a problem with your transmission, or your fuel pump could be going.
Check brakes for seized caliper causing the pulling & this may have warped a rotor causing the jerking. Rule of thumb is if it pulls left on braking then the right brake is sticking

I assume you mean Hummer. No, a Hummer is not a Jeep. The Hummer or Humvee replaced the Jeep in the U.S. Military.
it means there is something wrong with the spark plugs cause they provide the energy for the engine

the Jeep Grand Wagoneer was last made in 1991. do you mean the Jeep grand Laredo or Jeep grand Cherokee?
TJ is not an abbreviation for anything, its just Jeep's designation for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler. After World War Two, Jeep made vehicles for non-military use. They were designated "CJ" for "Citizen's Jeep". In 1987, Jeep had a major renovation of the Wrangler and designated it "YJ". Again a major design change took place in 1997, and the new Jeep was called the "TJ". The letters don't mean anything though.
If your car jerks while you are coming to a stop it might mean that your breaks ar getting weasted. If your car is jerking when you come to a stop could mean you have warped brake rotors or a malfunctioning abs unit. It could be you're not taking it out of or to a low enough gear if the vehicle has a manual transmission. There could be a problem in your automatic transmission electronics system; especially a defective speed sensor.
