The main brass instruments in the brass section of an orchestra are Trumpet, french horn, Trombone and tuba. There are many others like tenor horns, euphoniums, flugel horn, cornet and tenor and bass trombones; these are rarer and usually will not be in your standard orchestra. There are variants on registers on many of the instruments like an alto horn or contrabass tuba, but again, these are very rare.
