I own a Cortez J6000 and of all the Guitars I have owned ( including Gibson and Martin), My old Cortez will hold it's own with any acoustic guitar on the market. I just found one valued at $799.99 on Google. Personally, I wouldn't take less than $1000 for mine if it was for sale. These guitars are well constructed and have great sound and action. They are a knock-off of the Martin D-45 and are about as exact as they come, right down to the abalone trim. They were manufactured by Jack Westheimer, a pioneer in the field of Japanese and other foreign made instruments. He is still in business working under the Cort name and producing OEM guitars for a number of companies. I hope this helps, Joe G.
