the Seikilos epitaph
Hurrian Hymn No. 6” is considered the world's earliest melody, but the oldest musical composition to have survived in its entirety is a first century A.D. Greek tune known as the “Seikilos Epitaph. The song was found engraved on an ancient marble column used to mark a woman's gravesite in Turkey.
The Ishara is the goddess of love in Hurrian and Semitic traditions. You can find temples dedicated to her in Sippar, Kish, Larsa, Nippur, Harbidum, and Urum.
The oldest song discovered seems to be a hymn to Syrian Nikal, who is the wife to the Moon god. It is recorded Hurrian (an old form of Syrian). It dates back to 1400 BC. A clay tablet showing how the piece should be performed was discovered in the 1950s. There are songs (or psalms) in the Old Testament may predate this however. Exodus 15:1-5 where a song is made to celebrate the crossing of the Red Sea. Deuteronomy 32 and 33 a song to keep the law after reaching Canaan and Psalm 90 a simple song of prayer. This may date to 1300 BC or they may be later or earlier, there's no reason why the last one couldn't be much earlier since it doesn't seem to be particularly tied to the events of Moses. If it was a Hindu song there's no record of it.
Biblical Haran had been identified with Harran, the Syrian name for a Hurrian city whose ruins are near the village of Altinbasak, in present day Turkey, near the border with Syria.
The Hittite pantheon changed over time until, around the time of Hattusili III and his queen, Puduhepa, they seemed to adopt a standardized pantheon around Hurrian names for the gods (in most cases). The Hittites were proud to call their homeland, Hatti, "the land of a thousand gods," and would typically bring home the gods of conquered peoples to worship in their own land. The two main deities appear to have been the Sun Goddess of Arinna and the Storm God (Tarhunt in Luwian and Teshub in Hurrian).
Not likely. Aramazd's name comes from the Zoroastrian Ahura-Mazda, for which is accredited to the Persians. Khaldi is a very ancient god from the Urartian and possibly the Hurrian era. They would not be considered the same 'person' either. They are gods.
