I would start with some research and note taking, and eventually once you have a good amount of quality information you could separate his life, achievements and legacy into large segments each of which could be a rough basis for one of your body paragraphs. You could then do a pre-write forming your introduction and opening paragraph as well as your conclusion and then moving on to the body of the report, after that you could write a rough draft, have someone else edit it, then finish with your final draft... Of course, there are various methods used to write a decent report, this is just the way I'd go about it. Hope this helps. One word of caution: You will run across many wonderful "quotes" from Stravinsky in your research. Use them sparingly, because it has been determined over time that many. many of them were not by Stravinsky - they were by his factotum, Robert Craft, who has been accused of attributing many things to Stravinsky that Stravinsky had nothing to do with or knew anything about.

Igor Stravinsky burst onto the world at the premiere of Diaghilev's ballet, choreographed by Vaslav Nijinsky, "The Rite of Spring," for which Stravinsky wrote the unprecedented score. He had already made huge successes with "The Firebird" and "Petrouchka." While all three are still performed as ballets, they are now more often performed in the concert hall.

You are probably thinking of Igor Stravinsky. The 1913 Paris premiere of his "Rite of Spring" literally caused rioting in the audience. Ravel was in the audience (or was it Debussy?) and the future conductor of the Boston Symphony, Pierre Monteaux.
