Guess what? I just happen to know the answer for this one - weirdly enough. iTunes recently had a playlist up called, "50 songs that sell". It was all commercial songs. "song for the lonely" was up as the Cher song in the Weight Watchers commercial, so there you go.... I'm kinda freaked out I knew this one.
