The Gibson Flying V guitar is an Electric Guitar model first released by Gibson in 1958. There is no specific price list for the Guitars but their prices range from $999 - $1500 for a used one.

24 and 3/4 inches is the scale length (distance from nut to bridge), not the overall length of a Gibson Flying V. I don't know the exact measurement, but it must be approximately 45 inches.Suggest you call a Gibson dealer with one in stock and ask them to measure it.Don't bother going to Gibson's web site because they don't list the overall length from tip of headstock to bottom tip of wings.
In most videos he is seen with a Gibson Les Paul (black). However, Wikipedia states his "Notable Instruments" are as follows: Gibson Byrdland, Gibson Les Paul, Fender Telecaster, Gibson ES-355, Gibson ES-175, and Gibson SG.Wikipedia does not list the color of the guitars he used (sadly).
Depends entirely on the year it was made, and the way to determine that is by matching the serial number with the master list posted at Gibson.com. If it's one of the 1980's Spirits, they're on Craigslist for around $400. But it also depends on condition, configuration, etc. Go to Gibson USA at Gibson.com and check the serial number first - that will tell you what guitar you actually have and more history. Then go to the Gibson forums - you'll find out a lot more there.
The Gibson's Learn and Master DVD has a list price of $149.00. This includes a 100 page instructional manual, and several DVD's to guide you through learning the guitar.

There are different models which varies in price. the Gibson SG Standard's factory price is 2,500 dollars but on any dealer its about 1,200, the Gibson SG Faded's price is 700 and is close to the same price. the cheapest sg would be made by the lesser known company owned by Gibson, Epiphone, that is the Epiphone SG Special. its list price is 300, but in any dealer is 169.
The easiest way to get an authentic Gibson guitar is to go straight to the source. Go to an authorized Gibson dealer, you can find a list on www.gibson.com You could also buy directly from the company at the same site, but you will be buying sight unseen and exchanging the guitar would be difficult if it's not what was wanted.
List price back in the day 2003 (limited edition of 404) was $4699
