What is the song walking on air about?

Check the lyrics. It is saying that it isn't quite as fashionable as it once was to try to save the world by being socially conscious. You know, the battle cry of the 60's generation, most of whom somehow grew up to be Bill Clinton.

'I'd like to by the world a coke and teach it to sing in perfect harmony' is a metaphor for saying, I'd like to do something, give something back, and bring about better peace and cooperation and tolerance for the world.

It also has some lines about needing to look after the world better and learn to get along with each other, or... 'you might as well be walkin' on the sun'. Which I take to mean, you may as well be walking straight into the fire as doing what most of us are doing now, even if unknowingly.

And finally, a few lines and satire about drug culture and consumer culture, apparently positive connotation on the drug parts (toking together as a bonding thing) and satire against commercial culture (act now dont delay supplies are limited).

Walking on air by Kerli is technically a song in which she expresses herself. As you can see, in the video it shows rocking chairs and hats. Now it shows there items because these are items from her on childhood. For example, the hats tell us that she really loved to wear hats of all sorts. This was kind of her thing. In fact, those particular hats look really worn out because they are the same ones from her childhood.
