I think the song is called "It's Christmas Time" --- and I loved it, too. Heard it sung with all its verses during a Christmas choral concert at some musical university [which name I sadly can't recall now] several years after it had appeared in the movie. Lovely!
That song in the Cathedral in The Wool Cap is "This Christmas Tide" also known as "Jessye's Carol" done by The American Boys Choir. I looked for hours trying to find it myself!! So beautiful---and brings one to tears in the movie scene! Google the song and you will easily find it.

On the computer it is in italics but when you are writing it you underline it quotes are for a specific scene in the movie
No, "A Christmas Carol" does not need to be underlined if it is a movie title. Instead, it should be italicized if you are typing it.
Alive in Wonderland
The title of this popular carol is "Silent Night." It was composed by Franz Xaver Gruber in 1818 when the church organ broke down on Christmas Eve, and Joseph Mohr, a priest, wrote the lyrics.
