That's the opposite of underrated, really. If we're looking at today's prog rock bands, well, it depends. There's bands like Dream Theater that are essentially prog-metal and have a sizable following from fans of both genres. But then there's bands like the Flower Kings and the Dixie Dregs that have a loyal fanbase, but do not get a lot of recognition. Which IMO is a shame because there's a lot of great music out there that's getting passed over.
