I think you will find that there were no "pop groups" around in Henry VIII's time, but perhaps if he had been around now he would probably have liked Queen (!).

Seriously, if you wanted to say Henry was a fan of a certain group of Musicians, it would be his Chapel Royal.

Although this sounds more like a church building, it was actually a group of clergymen and musicians who served the religious needs of the king. There were 79 musicians in the Chapel Royal, and they even travelled with him in 1520 to the Field Of The Cloth of Gold event in France.

Henry loved music, wrote masses and ballads, and played several Musical Instruments, as well as collecting them.
