The purpose of the Jeep is 4x4 ing, mudding, hunting, playing not racing they were used and made for millitary at first to go thru jungles and all types of terrain mountains,desserts, snow just about any terrain the jeep can handle and run like diesels FOREVER if well maintained my 92 jeep cherokee sport has 340 thousand miles original engine and still runs like a champ I'm still waiting for it to die lol but it still keeps impressing me
