the diode when forward biased will conduct
and during reverse biased condition(generally doring reverse biased condition ckt is open mens no current flows;when register is connected)current flows
but during reverse biased condition
1--for sometimes initially current flows due to discharging of capacitor.
2--then ckt will be having no current
the capacitor has 2 wires or poles, one is the ground or negative and the other one is the hot or positive... if it is for car audio amp the ground is connected to the chassis and the positive is connected to the battery and to the positive wire of the amp.
There's really only four major components in a microwave oven. A transformer, a capacitor, a diode and the magnetron tube itself. If it heats while it's running for the few seconds, I'd think that the capacitor needs to be changed.
For a long time, The capacitor will be charged to the voltage of the DC battery, the positive side of the capacitor touching the positive terminal of the battery. Not much DC current will conduct, except for some tiny leakage current due to imperfection of the cap. The battery will be drained eventually.
Light Emitting Diode - LED
diode is unipolar
A: A diode a capacitor even a transistor must be connected to the the power as a polarized components
series resonant circuit
varactor diode is a correct answer
No. The purpose of the zener diode is to clip (turn on) at a certain voltage. A capacitor will not exhibit this behavior.
Transistor Diode Resistor Capacitor
The Capacitor with running winding is connected in parallel with main winding.
The anod terminal of diode is connected with negative and cathod is connected to positive
The electrolytic capacitor should be connected in only one direction.
when a capacitor is connected to earth the potential of capacitor becomes zero. as a result all the charge residing on the conductors of a capacitor passes away and the final charge on capacitor becomes zero
because the capacitor connected to the diode on the output side "filters out" the areas that would normally be chopped out by the diode. It does that, for example, by maintaining the voltage during the cut out portion of the sine wave.
It is called a varactor or a varicap diode. Its capacitance varies nonlinearly with the reverse voltage applied to its terminals.
The leakage current of a (zener) diode is the current that leaks when a diode is connected in reverse biased.
