They are both good. I would go for epiphone as ESP sounds heavier unless you want a heavy metal sound. Both Guitars have great models, it's all personal expectations. M.W http://miketheblacksheep.wordpress.com/
esp is a more expensive version, ltd is just mass produced. like Gibson is namebrand but epiphone is made by the same company, but diff name to knock hundreds off the price.
The top of the line ESP guitar are made in Japan. These guitar are very well built and many believe that they are among the best in the world. The ESP LTD guitars are meant to be more affordable counterpart to their ESP model. These guitar are made in China.
doubt it , they're all universal , I mean your guitar MIGHT have strap locks on it to lock the strap on the guitar so it doesn't drop during shows. But besides that I've owned like 17 guitars and I've had the same BC Rich strap from ESP to Epiphone
They have their pro's and con's. ESP has neck through construction for better sustain and easier access to higher frets, some higher end ESP's have Original Floyd Roses (the best tremolo out there) and active pickups. Ibanez is usually cheaper and a lot easier to find. There is a lot more choice with ibanez and they often feature more interesting parts than ESP's. Don't limit yourself, look at Jackson (probably the best metal guitar company out there) and just try out what you like. I would personally say ESP, but try out a few of each company. Jackson.
ESP Kirk Hammett was created in 1989.
hahahaha ltd is guitars is the cheap of esp like epiphone to Gibson this is ltd to esp :) guitars

1. Fender 2. Jackson 3. Squier 4. Gibson 5. Epiphone 6. Yamaha 7. Ibanez 8. ESP 9. Ovation 10. B.C. Rich
in my opinion, an esp because it has more of a metal sound to it
i think anthing from €320 - €600. There is a wide range of guitars you can get between this price range. if u are actually going to spend money within this price range u should get an ESP, EPIPHONE, or a YAMAHA.
too many for one list off the top of my head BC Rich (i highly recommend) Charvel DBZ (Dean Barrett Zelinsky) Dean Epiphone (gibson) ESP Fender Gibson Ibanez Jackson Kramer Lado (highly recommend) LTD (esp company) Monsor Moser Ovation (amazing acoustics) Schecter Treben (amazing basses)

Eastwood is a guitar brand. The company is located in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada.
Well im not sure about guitar co. but ESP makes some nice beginner guitars for about 200-250$, but you can get a decent beginner guitar from just about most brands for anywhere to 150-300$. Personally i wouldn't spend more than 250$ if it's his first one. I'll give a list of some genres and what brand i would suggest for it. Country Yamaha(acoustic) Jazz Fender (A squier would be best, nice and cheap but not necesarily a bad guitar) Rock Esp Jackson Epiphone Ibanez Southern Rock Epiphone Thats all i can think of off the top of my head i hope i was of some assistance. Note: I was mainly talking about electric guitars. I don't have a very wide knowledge of acoustics.
One can find out more about the ESP Viper brand from the 'Musician's Friend' website where one can find details of the brand and specifications. Information can also be found on 'Wikipedia'.
The answer to this is simple. Gibson guitars are hand crafted. Along with many other brands if a guitar is hand crafted it will only mean one thing, more damage to your wallet. That's why larger companies make affordable guitars to the public as well, the only difference is that the cheaper you go the more chance that the guitar was made overseas by machines. Fender has Squire, Gibson has Epiphone, and ESP has LTD....I could go on, but you get the point.
