Buffet Crampon made their first Clarinet in 1825 in France. They now make a variety of woodwind Musical Instruments and have manufacturing facilities around the world.
I have a Evette-Buffet silver flute serial # 562299...it they anyway to get history on this instrument? Please help m in this. thanks
Lazarro is a good clarinet for beginners as well as some intermediate players. Also note, the instrument is only as good as the player as well as a technician to services. These two factors should also be considered when comparing brands. You can have a very nice brand such as buffet crampon, but not have the proper set up on it which of course make it a very frustrating instrument to work with. Yes, there are some brands of instruments that should be avoided as far as the first instrument. Lazaro is not one of them
THE MOST EXPENSIVE CLARINET I HAVE SEEN IS THE BUFFET TOSCA MODEL,SELLING AT A MUSIC STORE IN AUSTRALIA.....COST...$11,300 AUST. DOLLARS...SHUCKS..DO I GET A FREE REED WITH THAT...I AM SURE THE INSTRUMENT WILL SPENT ITS LIFE IN THE DISPLAY CASE...
The sound of a clarinet gets louder as the musician blows harder into it. Also, the musician tightens the mouth to make the sound more stable, so you can make it even louder. To make the clarinet go quieter, you do not blow as much air into the clarinet.
Never heard of this brand name? Why not just buy a reputable clarinet.

Buffet B-13. It'll be the best decision you ever make! If maintained properly, it will last you your whole life!
I have never even heard of that brand of clarinet. Ever. It must not be quality... or maybe it is just more obscure. And I have been playing for some time. Please take my advice, it will make all the difference. I would suggest a Yamaha, Armstrong, or Buffet.

It vibrates against the inside of the clarinet to make the sound.

Disinfect the clarinet in question with industrial-strength vanilla.

The clarinet was made frome the same material we use to make it today.
A restaurant coupon will be honored at the Buffet if the coupon applies to that specific buffet. If it applies, make sure that the coupon is not expired. If both of these conditions are met, hand the cashier the coupon when you are ready to pay for you meal at the buffet.
No. Unlike the recorder, the clarinet uses a reed to make noise. The clarinet evolved out of the chalumeau. See the attached wikipedia article for information about that instrument.
