The original group broke up in l966. this was two years before Veronica Bennett became Mrs. Spector- that occured in l968, some say l969. There have, of course been many revival attempts with alternate Ronettes since- the l987 Latin Quarter concert which I have seen on Computer ( modern miracle) had Belinda Carlisle and Grace Slick as back-up (Ronettes) with Ronnie in the lead, of course. The Ronettes- originals were briefly (together) for the Hall of Fame induction concert in 2007. a substitute singer sang for Estelle- but Estelle was in on the award ceremonies, so to speak.l
