Loretta Lynn has won many awards during her long and popular career. As for lifetime achievement awards, it depends on the awards itself. In the mid 1970's she received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Music Awards. In 1979, the Academy of Country Music awarded her, "Artist of the Decade." In 1988, Loretta became a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Loretta holds many records as far as awards go. She won the Music City News Country Music Award for, "Female Vocalist of the Year," from 1967 to 1977, and again in 1980. She's also the first female to win the "Entertainer of the Year Awards" from both the Country Music Association (1972), and the Academy of Country Music (1975).
