she fit in better than she did in middle school back home in Pennsylvania because everyone in Tennessee loved Country Music, like she did. she said that she still wasn't popular, but everything just "clicked" for her in high school in Tennessee.

But she dealt with a lot of bullying in middle school because of her naturally curly hair, and the fact that she lived in Pennsylvania and wanted to be a country singer made her an outcast among her peers.
