Scorpions are found in mostly warm climates, ranging from the deserts of Asia and the southwest US to the Australian outback. None are found in New Zealand or Antarctica. One species lives on the UK's Isle of Sheppey, just 62 km (38 miles) east of London. (see the related link)

I went on holiday

To the South of France

and in Our pool

we found a scorpion!!

In Provence, I believe

but are pretty much harmless if they sting you.

It only feels like a bee sting or a splinter so you can find them in France but they are are

As bad as wasps.

Another name for having low blood sugar levels is called Hypoglycemia and it has several symptoms. In more mild cases of it you may feel jitter, nervous, sweaty or cold. Some of the harsher symtpons can be blurred vision and trouble walking.
