There are 2 lines. The return line is the line that is the the coolest after running the car. Usually the top line.
My jeep has the same problem (1998 xj) and a mechanic told me that you have to remove the tranmission pan to get to it, its up inside the transmission and if your goin to rep[lace it you might as well change your filter while your at it.
Zirconium does not have an isotope with mass 97.
Try taking both heater hoses off and run a garden hose through the core with lots of pressure to be sure its not plugged. If the core is ok the radiator is probably plugged and will have to be boiled out or replaced.
If it is a 6 Cly. the most likely location is at about 11:00 on the bell housing looking forward. Very hard to get to and drooped bolts may end up in your transmission bell housing. Magnetic sockets and small hands advised.

that is the transmission return cooler line

The front transmission line leaks, how do I replace it?
Never seen a power steering hose connected to the radiator. Transmission fluid hose, yes.
how to replace 97 Lexus ES300 transmission
You need a new radiator if you have trans fluid in the radiator. Getting trans fluid in the radiator isn't such a big deal...just change the radiator.....the worrisome parts is getting coolant in the transmission. The radiator has a transmission cooler built in and it is separated with a wall of aluminum - the coolant and trans sides should never mix. First! You need to drain and remove the radiator and replace it with new fluid. If you got trans fluid in the radiator, it very likely means you got the inverse....coolant in the transmission. You also need to flush and drain the transmission. Also, you need to flush the transmission cooler lines out for any coolant. Coolant in the trans is often the death of a transmission. Make sure you use the right fluid in the trans. That vehicle takes Mercon V fluid - don't put anything else in there or you will have problems potentially.
Replace the radiator cap and be sure the coolant reservoir is kept full to the line, it will bleed itself.
they are your transmission cooler. doesen,t matter on the flow of those because they are on the bottom
At the bottom, or rear fo the radiator or remove lower radiator hose.
Remove The Radiator And Have A Radiator Shop Test, And Flush It.
