Born in 1955 - NYC Artist/ Singer and Songwriter During the 1970's Lyon Danebridge enjoyed some local NYC recording success with his single "Silicone Queen" , a very suggestive "punk rock" tune. though the tune was right on, and the life style was previlant on the streets of many big cities, like NYC, it was considered too "underground" for the time. (excerpt from Silicone Queen)) "Sheeeeeeee, could be Your mother, maybe a long lost brother, she's an avenue Queen, Nooooooo, gender between, butt, she feeeels, like the real thing... Peaches with cream, Looks like a dream... Silly Putty being..... Just remove that thang! And away goes troubles down the drain! King to a thing... So you took a trip to Sweden, to get an operation, It's No miracle thing in becoming a queen, just remove that thang! Silly Putty being, Now you're a Queen a silicone thing, It's a boy, It's a girl... It's a silicone, QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!" ....and it goes on for 17minutes Lyon Danebridge enjoyed success in clubs like; Maxis Kansas City, Trudi Hellers, CBGB's, Cafe' Wha?, Purple Onion, and the Electric Circus, along side occasional appearances in the Palladeum off 14th and 3rd with other bands, like the Ramones who were frequent as well in Maxis Kansas city. Also frequent with, Neon Leon, the Marbles, Mumps and Cramps, Rainbow, T--Rex and other such nobels of the time. Lyon Danebridge recalls buying his first guitar from a pawn shop on third avenue NYC. "BILL's" was the name, and the gutar was a 6 string Black with Tiger Finish sunburst on the front. It was a "Kent" and it cost him $6.50 hard cash for a 7 year old. "Bill let me slide on the other $1.50 (cause I didn't have it), but asked him to play a tune. Lyon Danebridge played "Don't be Cruel" an "Elvis" favorite of his, and BILL said, " It's Your's, son, and you sound better than "Elvis"! Elvis was Lyon's role model and insentive for seeking the stage, from the moment Lyon first heard Elvis, He knew this was what he had to do. In an off, off broadway, Lyon Danebridge got his chance to play "ELVIS" in the show, Bye, Bye, Birdie, as cast in the part of "Conrad Birdie". Lyon Danebridge is an Artist/fine art and enjoyed some success in the SOHO district in the 70's and early 80's. His Paintings can still be found on the .net and galleries and shows. He has been known to be on ebay, and YouTube, google and other places and can be searched for on the internet. http://www.geocities.com/lyondanebridge

Located in the historic factory building on North Ogden Avenue, with views of the city skyline behind the stage, Lyon & Healy Hall promises to be one of the country's premier venues for the appreciation of chamber music, and harp music in particular. Lyon & Healy was founded in 1864 by George Washburn Lyon and Patrick J. Healy. The latter was the driving force behind decades of groundbreaking innovation in engineering and craftsmanship. From its earliest days, Lyon & Healy has been a pioneer in the music world, producing the first American-made harp and introducing the upright piano, Thomas Edison's gramophone, the player piano, the spinet piano, and the electric organ. What is a washburn lyon guitar worth?

If your Lyon electric has the patch cord jack on the bottom side of the body, not the top like s fender strat, and the over all condition is like new or mint - I would estimate the value between $90.00 - $110.00. Reality will probably set the price $20.00 below the price stated. Gary
