The Fab Four has the most #1 hits, spent the most weeks in the top spot and had the most consecutive #1's. They also had the most Top Ten hits, Top 40 hits and Top 100 hits. At one period they held all top 5 slots on the charts (a record) and had 14 different songs in the top 100 at one time (also a record.)Considering their relatively short life span (approx. 5 years), the Beatles are clearly the most successful band of all time; it's them and then everybody else!
