Chicago Blues is a form of 'blues' music that originated in Chicago. The difference between Chicago Blues and 'normal' blues is Chicago blues tend to have more electrically-amplified guitar, drums, piano bass guitar and saxophone.
One of the most representative artists of the Detroit blues style is John Lee Hooker. His unique blend of Delta blues with a more urban, electric sound helped define the Detroit blues scene. Other notable artists include Eddie "Guitar" Burns and Boogie Woogie Red, who contributed to the genre's development in the city during the mid-20th century. These musicians played a significant role in shaping the sound and evolution of blues music in Detroit.
